I read The Boxcar Children The Camp Out Mystery by Gertrude Chandler Warner. One of the main characters is the oldest girl named Jessie. She is very adventurous, hardworking, polite, and very responsible. Jessie is very good at taking care of her younger siblings when her older brother goes to work in town. I am going to compare Jessie and Julie from a book called Power Pack. Julie is also hard working, adventurous, and always helps out her little sister, named Katie, when she is scared. They both are very responsible for their younger siblings. For example Jessie has to take care of them when they are solving mysteries because her older brother usually gets lost. Julie has to do the same thing because her brothers usually get caught by the Snarks. Jessie and Julie are different in many ways. For example, Julie has super powers and Jessie does not. Julie is really, really fast because of her super speed powers and Jessie likes to take her time and go slow. Jessie usually wears a dress or skirt and Julie usually wears t-shirts and sweatshirts. Julie plays soccer and Jessie has to cook, clean, and likes to sew. Also, both of these books take place in different time periods.

I read the book Whatever After Cold as Ice.Abby is a main character that is kind, friendly, funny, cheerful, and a good friend. in a book I just read theres a charter named Alex (and she's a girl) and she's also kind, friendly, funny cheerful and a good friend ,but the thing they have most in common is they both LOVE fairytales! They also have differences. One difference is Alex goes into a fairytale world by falling into a book ,but Abby falls into a fairytale by knocking on a mirror 3 times and then stepping into the mirror!Another difference is Alex has blonde hair and Abby has brown hair! They have brothers ,but Alex has a rain and abby has a younger brother! They both take their brothers on their adventures! As you can see Alex and Abby have many similarities and differences.

I read the book Buster Baxter Cat Saver, Buster is the main character. He is brave, funny, he exaggerates the truth most of the time, and he likes ice cream a lot. I would compare Buster to my brother Zach. They both are funny, they both like ice cream, and they both sometimes exaggerate. They are also different in many ways, for example Buster was brave when he saved a cat and his friends, Arthur and Francine, Zach isn't as brave as Buster because he has never done anything heroic like Buster. Zach is also gross, loud, messy, and responsible whereas Buster is gross and messy but not loud and not responsible.

In the month of March I read a book called Ivy and Bean. The girl Ivy is a lot like my cousin Ella. One way they are alike is, that they both love to read. I know that because throughout the story Ivy read a lot. And I know that my cousin loves reading because usually she is reading when I see her. Another way, that they are a like is they both like to dress up. They are also very different from each other. One way they are different is that Ivy has orange hair and Ella has yellow hair. Another example is that Ivy can make spells and potions and Ella can't do those kids of things. As you can see these girls are very alike and very different.

I read the book Artemis the Loyal. I am comparing Artemis's tein brother, Apallo, to my brother Joe. One way they are alike is because they both can be really nosey and annoying sometimes. Also, they both like to challange their sisters, especially Apallo. I know these facts because Apallo and Artemis fight a lot on this book. However, Joe and Apallo are also very different. One way they are different is because Joe likes hokey and football, but Apallo likes archery. I know this because Apallo and Artemis do lots of archery in this book. Also, Apallo is a Greek god, bou Joe is not. I know this because I would know if my brother was a god! Also, Apallo is Artemis's TWIN brother. Joe is joust my younger brother. I would know if I had a twin. As you can see Apallo and Joe are very alike, and very different.

This month I read Whatever After Sink or Swim. I am comparing Lana (the Little Mermaid) and Kira. They are alike in many ways. One way is that they both are very fun-loving. Also, they both really like to dance. They are also different in a few ways because Lana is part mermaid, but Kira isn't, I think. Also, Lana has blond hair, and Kira has brown hair. Finally, Kira can spell words correctly, but Lana can't.

I read the book Thea Stilton Mouseford Academy The Secret Invention! A charter in the book is a girl mouse named Ruby. She is sneaky greedy and a person that wants attention.I'm comparing her to A boy in an another book named Julien. They both are not really nice ( especially Julien ).Also, they both are nasty because something is happening in school! But, they are different because Ruby is being mean because she wants to win a prize ,but Julien is being mean because a kid at his school looks different than everybody else. Therefore that concludes that Ruby and Julien are different and alike.

I read Mr. Putter and Tabby Ring the Bell by Cynthia Rylant and Arthur Howard. The main characters is Mr. Putter. He heard a school bell ring and remembered how much he loved school and how much fun he had in school. I’m going to compare Mr. Putter to me because in summer whenever I hear bells I remember how much I loved school and how much fun I had like Mr. Putter.

My book was Green Princess Saves the Day. The main character is a girl named Holly who lives near a park. She goes there every day and sits in her favorite spot. She loves nature. One day, she sees a sign that says the park is for sale. She does everything to save the park. She is determined to save the park and she does! My grandma loves nature too, just like Holly. She plants flowers and grows tomatoes. She is a determined person also. Whenever she puts her mind to something, she never gives up. Holly and Grandma are different because of their ages and because Holly is trying to save a park.

I read the book Molly by Ellen Miles. The main character is a dog named Molly. Molly is similar to my dog, Babs, and different in many ways. One reason she is the same is that she is mischievous and Babs is really mischievous, too. Babs is mischievous because she chewed up my mom's rocking chair. Molly was mischievous because she was always smiling, which made Charles (one of her fosterers) get scared. They are also the same because Babs had a foster parent and so did Molly. One way they are different is that Babs is a Belgian Shepherd- Chow mix and Molly is a Rottweiler. Also, Molly saves Charles' little brothers' life and Babs runs away from us and doesn't even think about us! The theme was even if something looks scary, it might be sweet inside. A character trait for Molly would be playful.

I read the book Magic Tree House Tonight on the Titanic. One of the main characters was Jack. He was brave like my dad. An example of how Jack is brave is that he got two people off the Titanic before it sank! An example of why my dad is brave is because I have never saw him get scared. They are different because Jack is just a boy and my dad is a grown up.

The book that I read is called Geronimo Stilton the Peculiar Pumpkin Thief. Geronimo Stilton was one of the main characters. Geronimo was scared in the book when the gates to the mysterious park get closed behind him. This reminds me of my dog who is also scared of unfamiliar places. Geronimo and my dog are also very different. Geronimo is a mouse and my dog is a dog!

I also like to play video games such as NHL 15 and Walking War Robots. There are also many differences between Greg and me. One difference is that Greg is very lazy around the house. He does not help his mom with the dishes. He does not help his dad with the yard work. I am not lazy. I enjoy helping my dad shovel snow off the garage roof. I also help my mom vacuum the house.
